These days, the way you present yourself online is crucial. So I did my research and I came across this “User Manual”. It is like a guideline for others, to help accelerate mutual understanding, to improve collaboration, and to help build a good working relationship with others.
So here it goes... My guidelines on how to operate Liz.
But first, some basics about me
- I am from Texas.
- I love Cardi B. I just really like her energy. I think that she is a really hard working, and important woman who is authentically herself, and that's really impressive to me.
- I'm obsessed with my kindle.
- I really like jewelry, specifically vintage or antique jewelry. Especially Edwardian and Victorian era jewelry.
- I also really love dresses. I'm always looking to expand my closet.
Unfiltered and honest-to-goodness things you should know about me
- I am obsessed with tech sales, particularly in the FinTech enablement sales, marketing, and InsurTech space.
- I work best when I clearly understand the scope of the situation. I'm relatively blunt and straight to the point. Although, I feel like my thoughts also wander around a little bit because I try to provide as much context as possible.
- I tend to be warm and accommodating when interacting with others and I am thoughtfully cautious about making decisions. I think when I make decisions I think a lot about preventing worst-case scenarios, and making sure the upside is infinite and unmatched.
- Building a rapport comes naturally to me. I know that when I'm on the phone with someone I try to make them laugh or smile as soon as possible. I'm a person who likes to give others a fun time.
- I like to clearly outline what needs to be done at least within the day or within the hour, and just go straight into focus mode and just execute.
- I am a night owl transitioning to being an early bird. Nothing makes me happier than the idea of going to bed early and then waking up early and getting my day started right away.
- I prefer to work very focused and press through and just get things done. It helps me to stay focused on tasks until it is done and get it out of the way. As opposed to working on short spurts because once I get distracted, It would be difficult for me to go back to that zone I was previously at, thus, decreasing my productivity.
- I feel productive, creative and inspired when I am away from my phone or from the internet. Ideally, I would just scope a project, do my research, then lock myself in a room and just sit down for the next few hours and just deep dive and get it done, without any outside distractions.
